Effective 14 July 2026
This policy explains how zantau uses cookies and similar technologies (such as browser local storage) when you use the service at zantau.com. It should be read alongside our Privacy Policy.
Cookies are small files stored on your device; local storage is a similar mechanism your browser provides. We use both to keep the service working, to remember your preferences, and — where enabled — to understand how the service is used. Some are strictly necessary; others are optional and, in the UK and EU, are only used with your consent.
These are required to run the service and cannot be switched off through the service. They include:
Where enabled, we use PostHog to understand how the service is used and to improve it. This includes product analytics (feature usage, page views and funnel events) and session recordings that capture on-screen interactions, with text you type into form fields masked. These requests are served through a same-origin path on our own domain so they are not blocked by ad-blockers; the data is still processed by PostHog as our processor. These analytics technologies are not strictly necessary; you can opt out of non-essential advertising and measurement technologies from the cookie banner or, when signed in, from Settings → Preferences.
We use the Meta Pixel to measure the performance of our advertising and to build audiences, and we forward a small number of conversion events to advertising platforms such as Meta and Google. These are optional advertising technologies. They operate on an opt-out basis: you can decline them at any time from the cookie banner (shown to logged-out visitors) or, once signed in, from Settings → Preferences under “Advertising & measurement”. Declining stops the advertising pixel and removes you from that conversion forwarding. We do not sell your data.
Payments are handled by Stripe on Stripe-hosted checkout and billing pages, which set their own cookies under Stripe’s policies when you use them.
You can decline or later withdraw consent for advertising technologies at any time from the cookie banner or, when signed in, from Settings → Preferences. You can also control or delete cookies and clear local storage through your browser settings, and set most browsers to refuse non-essential cookies. Blocking strictly necessary cookies may stop parts of the service — such as staying signed in — from working.
We may update this policy as the service evolves; the “effective” date above shows the current version. Questions? Email privacy@zantau.com.
